Transport is an additional cost as this is a separate provision from our day service, therefore, this is not included in the day service price. Direct payments and managed budgets are not exempt.
Organising transport is done as part of our onboarding and open referral system for all new users. Should you wish to discuss this further, please add your name, email address and preferred contact and we’ll call back on Mondays or Wednesdays between 5 and 6 pm. This is excluding Bank Holidays and Christmas closures.
This will be a simple conversation with the Service Manager or Transport Officer directly or this can be organised through your associated worker, such as a Social Worker, Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN), Nurses, Community Care Officers and Admiral Nurses. In this case, we will be in touch with the referee (GP, carer or health service or practitioner) and send forms to access your information.
